Significance of Logical Reconstruction Method for History of Logic and Philosophy

There is discussion about significance of reconstructions methods of previous scientific theories in terms of modern science for historical investigation. Method of logical reconstruction can not (and must not) replace textual analysis but it gives significant tools for theoretical comprehension and evaluation of scientific and philosophical conceptions and theories.
